Over the first 15 years of her legal career, Michelle represented clients in a variety of litigation matters, including complex multi-party lawsuits involving disputes regarding discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing, employment contracts and restrictive covenants, wage and hour violations, ERISA, and other claims. 

Michelle’s extensive litigation and administrative agency experience includes briefings before the United States Supreme Court and oral argument in the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has advanced unique arguments to obtain successful judgments and confirming appellate orders in court, arbitration, administrative hearings, and agency proceedings. Michelle has also successfully negotiated resolutions of multimillion-dollar litigation through alternative dispute resolution. Michelle has represented physicians and other medical professionals in professional board proceedings.

Although Michelle’s current practice does not include litigation, her experience in this area is foundational to her ability to provide excellent advice on risk assessment and avoidance.
